Travel Tour: An Insider’s Guide to New Orleans
May 18, 2017 - May 23, 2017
The travel tour for those who want to experience New Orleans like a local! In the Big Easy mornings don’t start at the crack of dawn, the streetcar is the “desired” mode of transportation, and the Sazarac is the cocktail of choice. Plenty of free time to relax by the salt water pool at the charming Le Richelieu hotel, admire the amazing architecture in every direction you look, and stop into the shops, bars and restaurants you’ll pass on leisurely strolls through the French Quarter. Don’t worry, all the hallmarks of the Crescent City are included, like Preservation Hall, Jazz brunch at the Commander’s Palace and an Architectural Bus Tour by our colleagues at the Preservation Resource Center. And there will be optional tours of Art Galleries, St. Louis Cemetery No.1, and a pub crawl In Search of the Best Sazarac, if you prefer to explore with a group. With a side trip to St. Francisville that includes plantation tours (one haunted!), this is a trip you won’t want to miss. Limited spots available, so sign up soon!
