44th Annual House & Garden Tour
June 7, 2014 @ 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Mount Hope-Highland Historic Neighborhood
June 7th & 8th, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
This year in the Mount Hope-Highland Historic Neighborhood! This is your chance to be more than casual visitor, as residents of the Mt Hope-Highland historic neighborhood welcome you into their homes. Ten private homes and gardens will be open for tour goers. Eight of the homes have never been open for our tour.
If you’ve never participated in the June tour, you’ll want to know that you can go at your own pace. Your ticket booklet provides a map, descriptions of the house, and admission to each home for one visit. You may go in any order – you can even choose to visit some houses on Saturday and others on Sunday. This gives you the opportunity to stroll the neighborhood, stop for coffee or lunch, or perhaps take one of the Friends of Mt. Hope Cemetery tours. You can even tour Lamberton Conservatory – Monroe County is graciously providing us the Conservatory as tour headquarters.
Tickets will be available online beginning May 5th or by calling (585) 546-7029 x11. Advance ticket orders will be processed beginning May 9th, and will also be available for purchase at Parkleigh, corner of Park Avenue and Goodman Street beginning May 9th. Online ticket orders can be mailed for $1.50 additional per ticket, or picked up at the Landmark Society office until Thursday June 5th. After that tickets will be available for pick up at the Conservatory beginning at 9:30 a.m. on the 7th and 8th.
Advance tickets for Landmark Society members are $18, and $22 for nonmembers. On the days of the tour, tickets for all will be $25, if we are not sold out.
