The Landmark Society Annual Jubilee
Presented by Marshall Boxes and Fred Astaire Dance Studio
After a two-year hiatus the Jubilee is back, and we can’t wait to see you! Surviving the challenges of Covid alone is a reason to celebrate, and despite Covid, the organization has many success stories to share and celebrate with you.
This year’s Jubilee will take place at the beautiful Historic Wilder Room on East Avenue. This beautiful space, named after former Rochester Mayor, A. Carter Wilder, was a twentieth century hot spot for the affluent members of the city’s society. Once the residence of Mayor A. Carter Wilder, East End’s Rochester Club was established in 1860, the exclusive club was membership based and known for its glamorous private events. In 1911 the Club was renovated to include a grand ballroom lit by 4 crystal chandeliers, which today still stand.
True to form there will be live musical entertainment, an assortment of irresistible silent auction experiences to bid on, and limited open bar. In addition, hors d’ oeuvres, plated dinner and dessert will be provided by AVVINO Catering.
Plated dinner entrees to choose from are:
- Braised Beef Short Rib w/Truffled Fingerling Potatoes & Creamed Swiss Chard (GF)
- Chicken Breast w/Cumin Heirloom Carrots & Braised Greens (GF/DF)
