Last chance! Cuba Travel Tour

Now that we are seasoned Cuba travelers, The Landmark Society’s second trip to this fascinating island will be even better than the first (which is a tall order to fill). Along with the wonderful tours of Preservation Projects, Architecture, Art and Music, we have booked our last night’s stay at the serene Melia Varadero Hotel on the beautiful northern coast. This Friday: Last Architecture for Lunch


Timed to fit in with busy schedules and weekday lunch breaks, these 20-minute presentations feature information about the history and architecture of downtown Rochester. Led by Cynthia Howk, Landmark Society staff member and local history expert. Architecture for Lunch tours are free and open to the public, held rain or shine, for the most interesting lunch break you’ve ever taken.

This Friday, tour the exciting East End Cultural District that includes elegant 20th century commercial architecture, the Eastman School campus, and the up-and-coming Chestnut/Lawn Street area. Meet Cynthia at 12:10 p.m. in front of Christ Church, 141 East Avenue, on the corner of Broadway.
