Come experience one of North America’s most historic and scenic destinations, the Hudson River Valley! Join executive director Wayne Goodman as we travel to the highlands section of the valley from September 15 through 18, 2014. We’ll explore the architecture of the “Gilded Age” with visits to “Wilderstein,” a remarkable Victorian estate in Rhinebeck and “Springwood,” the ancestral home of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s family in Hyde Park. A tour highlight will be our visit and overnight stay at Mohonk Mountain House, a National Historic Landmark resort tucked away atop the Shawangunk Ridge of the Catskill Mountains.
