Homes for the Holidays… A Virtual Experience

Now extended through January 23rd!

Join us as we celebrate and capture the magic of the holiday spirit on our Homes for the Holidays Virtual Experience, presented by Marshall Boxes! This event will include historical and architectural narrative highlights like our traditional tours for all our historic architecture groupies, but with an added holiday twist. For the first time, homeowners will share their favorite holiday traditions and special memories that add a unique and valuable experience when the heart of the home is shared.

You will virtually visit six historic locations; four private homes and two non-residential properties. At each, you will revel in the beauty and holiday cheer while learning about the unique history of each site. Three of the properties are first timers on a Landmark Society tour, and of course we always have a couple showstoppers up our sleeves. As special features, you will virtually tour AIA Rochester 2020 design awardee ‘casa saudade’ a converted barn and a very rare, but highly requested public viewing of Rochester’s own Frank Lloyd Wright design, ‘The Boynton House.’

Your support by purchasing tickets for this year-end fundraiser will help us close out this year with a bang!

The tour will be available to enjoy from December 27th through January 23rd. You may even purchase “additional viewer” tickets at a deep discount for anyone that will watch the video with you -whether they are sitting in front of your screen or in their own home across the country.

How will it work?

Ticket sales are live through January 23rd. They will be available on our website only. You must have a valid email address to receive your tickets, but please note that it is not necessary to create an EventBrite account to purchase. You may check out as a “Guest.”

Full viewer ticket – $25
Additional viewer (someone who is going to watch with you) $10

Once you’ve purchased your tickets, three things will happen:

1. You will receive an initial confirmation email.

2. You will receive an email with a pdf of the tour program, to print out or enjoy online, and a direct link to the tour, which will stay active until the night of January 23rd.

Please make certain that you have Landmark Society and Eventbrite in your safe email list, or check your spam folder so you don’t miss these important emails!
