FreeWashington Square Park
Explore the city’s first park, originally destined to be the courthouse square for newly established Monroe County. Meet at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in Washington Square Park on S. Clinton Avenue (opposite Geva Theatre).
The popular Architecture for Lunch guided walking tours return for three consecutive Fridays during June 2013. Timed to fit in with busy schedules and mid-day lunch breaks, these short presentations feature information on the history and architecture of downtown Rochester. Cynthia Howk, The Landmark Society’s Architectural Research Coordinator, will guide interested tour goers from 12:10-12:35.
