Fall 2012 Preservation Boards & Commissions Workshop
Dear Members of Preservation Boards/Commissions:
Please join us on Tuesday, November 20 at the Morgan-Manning House in Brockport for the next installment in our FREE Workshop series.
Making the Case in Your Community: The Economics of Preservation & Main St Revitalization
Focusing on the economic benefits of historic preservation, Landmark Society staff will present information, statistics, and success stories that will help you make the case to your community–from local elected officials to reluctant property owners–that preservation pays. We’ll also provide you with some practical steps that you can take, outside of your official Board/Commission duties, to promote the benefits of local designation and preservation planning.
