Third Ward TX: Documentary screening at The Little
A row of born-again shotgun houses in the Third Ward neighborhood of Houston, Texas is the unlikely home of cutting-edge art and visionary thinking about inner-city renewal. Third Ward TX introduces artists and neighbors of Project Row Houses, who are breathing new life into their historically black community. Success attracts new real estate speculation as Project Row Houses races to create its own development plans that honor the history and culture of the Third Ward and strengthen community ties. See the trailer here.
Producer, Nancy Bless, will join us for a short Q&A after the film and we’ll give you a sneak preview of Slow Road Travel, a new documentary series and movement dedicated to redefining the accessibility of escape and encouraging the freedom of exploration. And, finally, all film-goers are invited to join us for a Dessert Reception immediately following the film at Restaurant 2Vine.
Thursday, April 24 | 7:00 pm | The Little Theatre (Theatre 1) | 240 East Ave., Rochester | Tickets: $12 (or included with Conference registration) | Click here to purchase your tickets
