Countdown to Brockport
In less than 10 days, we’ll be bringing over 150 community leaders, citizen activists, and planning professionals to the village of Brockport for our annual Conference. Conference sessions will feature high caliber national speakers as well as many great local and regional speakers. This year’s theme, Outside the Box: Innovative Preservation Practices for the 21st Century, highlights the diverse array of preservation practices that are being used across New York State and the nation to foster community revitalization, support economic development, and protect our heritage.
One of our highlighted speakers includes Mark Fenton, a nationally recognized public health planning and transportation consultant and, coincidentally, a native of Brockport. Mark is an adjunct associate professor at Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and former host of the “America’s Walking” series on PBS television.
It’s not too late to register to hear Mark and all of our other great speakers from near and far. Visit our website for complete details and registration.
