It’s been a whirlwind year for us here at The Landmark Society. We’ve transitioned back to more in-person programs and events, from our House & Garden Tour here in Rochester in June to the NY Statewide Preservation Conference in Syracuse in September. We’ve also resumed our popular travel tours, with a Douro River cruise through Portugal and Spain, a motor coach trip to Chicago and the Holland Tulip Festival in Michigan, and a perfect summer day trip to Cazenovia and Skaneateles. We celebrated Rochester Pride, mingled among classic automobiles at Cocktails & Carburetors, and greeted autumn at Stone-Tolan Historic Site during our 2nd annual OCTavern Festival. Despite a full calendar of events, we continue to experience lower attendance when compared to pre-Covid levels. This loss of revenue enhances the importance of this year’s Annual Fund. We hope you’ll consider The Landmark Society in your end-of-year giving so that we may continue our meaningful work across our region in New York.
