If you live in the Park Avenue neighborhood in the city of Rochester, this public information meeting is for you! The nomination of the Park Avenue Historic District to the National Register of Historic Places is scheduled to go before the State Review Board in September. Join The Landmark Society and staff from the NY State Historic Preservation Office to learn about the district and how it can benefit you! We’ll explore the architecture and history of one of Rochester’s most iconic neighborhoods. As a special bonus–we’re even getting you inside four private homes! This is a rare opportunity to get a peek inside these homes and see the neighborhood through the eyes of local architecture and history experts. Travel Tour: Boo! Halloween in New Orleans |

You’ll see houses like this on the architectural bus tour during our New Orleans travel tour over Halloween–along with hearing amazing music and eating fab food. New Orleans is a great city all of the time but Halloween is especially fun. Not as crazy as Mardi Gras and not as overwhelming. Costumes are not required but call Larry for suggestions of accoutrements that can be purchased in NOLA. And there is much more to this trip than just Halloween – Preservation Hall, seeing private homes, architectural tour, great food, and much more. Spots are still available. |
