Choose. Give. Matter. ROC the Day TODAY!
Today, the Rochester community comes together to ROC the Day and we need YOU to join us. It’s 24 hours of unprecedented community giving. And it’s your chance to make a real difference right here in the Greater Rochester region.
All funds donated to The Landmark Society today will go towards our Preservation Grant Fund. This small but powerful program helps save historic buildings throughout our region. It provides critical start-up funds to at-risk historic buildings to get preservation projects off the ground. These grants make a world of difference to the grassroots organizations, houses of worship, and small communities that receive them. Join us and make a difference.

Fall Partners Roundup TONIGHT
Get the Word Out:
How to use social media & traditional media to tell your story
The 2016 Fall Partners Roundup will take place Tuesday, November 29th at The Landmark Society’s offices. The Partners Roundup is an opportunity for community advocates and preservation partners from around the region to gather and share their communities’ or organizations’ challenges and successes. The formal portion of the program will feature a panel discussion with professionals working in social media, news radio, and historic sites. They will provide into insight into what strategies work (and what strategies don’t) when trying to tell your historic site’s or community’s story. How do you attract new visitors? How do you get your story out there? How can you package your site, community, or project to appeal to a wide and diverse audience? We’ll discuss these questions and more!
Tuesday, November 29 | 6:00-8:00 PM | Landmark Society Offices | 133 S. Fitzhugh St. | Rochester, NY 14608 | RSVP to Caitlin Meives
