Advance sale tickets are now available for our 42nd annual House & Garden Tour. This year we’re bringing you inside unique and elegant homes on Grosvenor Road, Pelham Road, Council Rock Avenue and Highland Avenue. Each home offers its own special surprises, sure to delight! You’ll also enjoy seeing gardens designed by master gardeners, unusual outdoor sculpture displays, a Japanese influenced site, and one of the earliest residential swimming pools in the county. RocCity Design Week kicks off this weekend

Look all around the city! Everything you see has been designed. RocCity Design Week 2012 is a week-long celebration of the enormous design and artistic energy in the Rochester area. During the week, venues around the area will shine a light on the the area’s brightest designers and artists. These groups and individuals help to affect the way we live, by shaping the buildings we live in, the streets we walk on, the objects we use, the images we look at, and art that inspires us. Visit Ellwanger Garden during Lilac Fest

Ellwanger Garden in MayWhile you’re exploring the lilacs at Highland Park, escape the crowds and stroll over to the Ellwanger Garden on Mt. Hope Avenue. The Landmark Society’s 1867 Ellwanger Garden will be open daily during Lilac Festival, May 11-20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please follow signs for Garden parking.
