Historic DeMay Hotel at risk in Town of Greece

DSC_0910

With the Greece, New York Historic Preservation Commission dissolved by a Town Board vote last week, citizens themselves must advocate for the National Register eligible 1909 DeMay Hotel, which may be demolished to make way for a service station / Dunkin’ Donuts.

Join us at the developer’s community meeting this Thursday (1/26) 7:00 PM at North Greece Firemen’s Field House (3666 Latta Rd) if you agree that historic buildings & landscapes are assets that make communities more distinctive, vibrant, livable, sustainable, and economically healthy. Click here to read a Democrat & Chronicle article about the history of the Hotel.

How it works:

  • Donate $15 or more.
  • Receive a ticket for Tequila tasting and learn more about several different tequilas.
  • Hang out with supporters and friends of these three non-profits.

All proceeds equally support The Landmark Society, RoCo, and Farley’s Friends.
